Has anyone out there have any info (pro or con) on the Traditions Trapper flint pistol in 50 cal? The wife may let me put a flint pistol in the budget and this is one that falls into the price limit she set (retirement can have it's limits).
Thanks for any info.

I had one for about a year. Didn't like it. Wasn't very accurate, even off sand bags. Lots of misfires also. :curse: If there is ever another pistol in the future it will not be a factory pistol. Maybe TVM.

I have a friend that really liked the way that the pistol fit his hand, and the barrel seemed accurate, but the lock was horrible. Horrible may not be strong enough. It danced back and forth between impossible to unsafe! We switched it to a L&R RPL lock and it was much better. We had to laugh about putting a $100 lock on a $50 gun, but it made him happy. :)
