I have been thinking of getting a finished Tulle Fusil smoothbore and would like to get in touch with some builders. I know the Mould and Gun Shop in Jackson, Ohio, saw the owner of the business at a trade fair at Fort Frederick in Big Pool, Maryland a few years ago. But anyone else out there? I am not trying to build my own gun.

FYI, you'll need a tapered breech, octagonal to round barrel (ideally tapered to muzzle), via a single wedding band transition, of > 44" length.

Most bulders use 'stock' 42" barrels due to shipping co$ts. Sadly, most of us end up building our own as no one, less a true custom piece, makes an accurate Tulle FdC 'kit'!

Alex Efremenko, who is a member here, would be your best bet!

FYI, the last Kashtuk one posted on here had a barrel far too short ...

Yup, what @Flint62Smoothie said.
Alex Efremenko is your best bet. His guns are spot on.
To my limited knowledge that barrel is your toughest obstacle. There just aren't a lot of barrels made the right length and the right taper.
I guess a lot comes down to a balance of how much you're willing to spend and how much correctness you are willing to compromise on. And, if willing to spend the money for the gun to be truly correct, are you willing to wait for it?

Contact Alex Efremenko. He's a member of the forum. Also see his Facebook page for photos of his fusils.
