I checked the bore dimension and the cylinder throats. Using dial calipers (while not ideal but close enough) the bore runs about .452". However, the throats ran .448" and one was .445" Not conducive to accuracy. You want the throats at least as large as the bore if not a bit larger. At least that's my experience with smokeless revolvers. Or is it different with black powder?
It is not different with bp revolvers. Reaming the chambers to at least .454 should be helpful be helpful Although reducing your powder charge a bit might be as productive. Most target shooters use a load of 20 grains or less of 3f and a filler of cream of wheat or something similar to keep the finished load chain similar in the chambers to a full load of black powder.

The cylinder should be bored to match your bore. Italian cylinders are not. This is why I have my 36 Navy cylinders reamed to 375 by a gunsmith.
