My hunting MLers have wedges for easy disassembly. so I shoot the load if I'm not going to hunt anytime in the near future. Found that unloading a charge is more trouble than firing and then a thorough cleaning. The tamped down powder has to cleared which is a "pain" in addition to pulling the PRB.

Have gone 2 weeks w/o changing the load and the gun went off fine.......Fred
