I have an Antonio Zolli I bought in 1979 for $65.00. The store was getting rid of all their percussions. I should have bought two. It has to be a flintlock here in PA to hunt the special season. I never could get that gun to shoot any kind of minnie. I was lucky to keep them on a pie pan at ten yards. I discovered the term keyhole first hand. I was going to sell it. Some one suggested round balls. I tried round balls with the old polypatches from the 70's. It shot a one hole group at 25 yards the first time out. I bought all the patches they had. I still have a few hundred left. I shoot 90 grs 2f and a .570 ball. I killed the biggest deer I ever got with this rifle. It was a 9 point. The rack was small but I got 120lbs of meat from this deer including the paper wrapping. The scale went to 125 lbs and he pegged it before we cut him up.
