USFA Cap and Ball Remington

I'm not arguing that the USFA is probably a better gun and being licensed by Remington a closer copy. But is it worth the price tag? Not to me. For that kind of money I'll take an original. Now if they were a couple of hundred more than a Uberti I might say they were worth it.
BTW I don't think third gen Colt's are worth the asking prices either.
 
USFA has been talking about a Remington but you cannot get any info or even response from them. In their early years they were going to produce a percussion revolver series but it also never got off the ground except for a few special orders.

Pedersoli makes a Remington New Model Army but it also is very expensive, around the $1500 price. Mainly it is for serious competition shooters. They also make Spencer & Rogers as does Feinwerkbau.
 
I sure wood like to see one. But to rich for my blood. I feel lucky to have the two Piettas i have. All though one day i wood like to have Walker or a ROA.
