Utah. Dad just gifted me his .45 T/C kit Flintlock rifle he made back in the 80s. All I know is I want to shoot it and buy every commissioned black powder rifle. Is there something wrong with me? Especially with curley maple grain stock. Army vet OEF/OIF. I know zero about muzzleloading. Hoping to learn from everyone here and if you have a beautiful rifle, new or old. Congrats. Pass it on to someone who will cherish it.

First rule, "use black powder only" does not mean black color. BP is a very different mix. You probably know this, but we have seen many folks hurt by ignoring the difference or not knowing. Dale
