We're shooting a classic American flintlock longrifle. This is a Pennsylvania rifle with an iron mounted York County style stock, built by Tennessee Valley Muzzleloading, A.K.A. TVM. The rifle is .50 caliber with a straight 7/8th of an inch by 42-inch long barrel.

It is viewing videos like that keeping my apatite wet to one day get a flintlock. Right now I only own a side lock percussion rifle - .50 Thompson PA Hunter.

Nice gun, what is it about the details/traits of the York Style stock that you prefer over the detail/traits of the other Penn. style 18th century rilfes of other schools? I am curious what draws people to the various types of guns

I think I paid $700 seven or eight years ago...according to TVM's website they are $1,050 now
