I am trying to locate either David Anderson or one of his guns. David would now be in his late 60's, and was building muzzleloading guns and saddles in Maryland until about 1973. In 1973 he moved to Colorado and I lost track of him at that time. He specialized in rebuilding cavalry saddles and making rifles in the style of the Pennsylvania makers. David was a family friend when I was in my teens, and acted sort of as an older brother. In fact I still ride a World War I British Officer's Cavalry saddle that Dave rebuilt and then gave me.

If anyone knows of his whereabouts, or knows of one or more of the rifles that he built I would like to hear from them. With regards to his guns, I would like to buy one if it is available, but would happily settle for pictures.

go to search type in david anderson and colorado, severak come up, none in their 60s. give it a try.

I have tried google, internet white pages, and similar searches already, but thank you for the advice.
