This is a Wells & Hale .36 caliber, percussion, muzzleloading, double rifle. It is in shootable condition. The double triggers operate as a set trigger and firing trigger rather than a traditional double-trigger/double-barrel shotgun type setup. Both hammers operate, but the right hammer is a bit finicky so care is encouraged.

German silver furniture. Barrels are 26”. Patch box in the stock. Rear sight may be a replacement.

Glue some hearing aid batteries together and drop them down the bore (or something similar),then take a photo.

It’s not always a lack of illumination that’s the issue. Very few phones are capable of capturing the depth of field (focus from front to back) at the close distances required to take bore photos.
OK. But for me I am not wanting to record the bore for posterity, I just want to see if it is good enough that I would buy it.
