Not much info on these Richland or Navy Arms replicas. This one is 1979 according to the Italian date code ..45 short 26 inch barrel. I have done a lot of work on this to get it back to this point. Perfect fore end wood and fit with terrible buttstock fitting of metal parts from the factory such as the patch box which is more for looks and the sheet brass butt plate. The ramrod tubes are cast and I had to use a reamer to get them finished inside as they were very rough and scratched the hell out of the ramrod with each use. I certainly don’t like the shape of the front trigger but it appears to be chrome plated and I am afraid to cold bend it. The trigger guard threads into the receiver, a real pita as the threads were bad. I have yet to try it out, not sure if it’s staying.
