Just curious how everyone else carries their nitro cards/over shot cards ? I've always just carried mine in a tobacco tin or something similar, but I'm just about to make a leather tube to hold them instead as I find the tin makes too much noise.

Honest (?) in a pocket. Cloth. Your carry doesn't need to be leather. A small fabric pouch or wrap will hold all you need for a day in the field.
I never said it did,its just what I'm choosing to do.

I burn off the paint and if the Logo is embossed on the tin I pound it out and smooth it off. One for OP cards and 1/8 wads, one for the soaked cushion wads, and one for cleaning kit. My fowling bad is fairly generous with lots of pockets, and even enough room for a sammich if I'm going to be out for a while.

Two options depending on what I'm doing, and thus what I need for wads and cards,

The leather bag works great for pre-made balls of lubed tow or "faux-tow" wadding. Not sure when I took the second pic of the box, or what I was doing. I rarely use nitro cards, and not in conjunction with tow. I only use them in the Skychief load.

Many years ago, before I started making any effort at pc/hc gear I used this when hunting with roundball and wads,

Not the best pic. But, a .600 round ball and the associated cards and lubed felt wads fit perfectly in that tube. Placed inside so they come out in the order needed, it really did work out well.

Card wads loose in an oversize hunting pouch from Crazy Crow. The pouch is a big belt pouch modified to a wide shoulder strap pouch. Lotsa room for whatever strikes your fancy. Wads ,shot , caps , lunch , uninflated party dolls , whatever floats yer boat .

I made a leather possible bag for my 12 gauge double flint shotgun. The cards/ and over shots each have their own pocket. They are grouped together in a unit that inserts into the bag. You can slip your hand past it for other items in the bag. It slides out for filling.

I only have smoothbore SxSs in 12 ga so this wouldn't apply to a fowler in a smaller size.
I use a piece of copper pipe with a soldered cap on one end a one loose on the other, it's long enough to hold 12 wad loads inserted in the loading order. View attachment 111992l
That copper pipe idea is similar in concept to what I am going to make out of leather
