I tried tow (actually it was hemp chord broken down) and some hornet nest with shot. I'm thinking of the rope with ball, but haven't tried it yet.

No body uses tow like Mike does or wasp nest material. Not a muzzle loader shot gunner just curious.
I've used natural sheep wool on occasion, and I'd love to try wasp nest but can't seem to get my hands in any.

If you lived closer I could hook you up! I've been waging war against wasps, hornets and carpenter bees for the last few years. My last large hornet nest is now on the back porch as decoration because it keeps the carpenter bees away.
Cheers lol. I'm guessing i need to be a few thousand km closer though 🤣🤣

Had a friend who use coin holders, the kind that has a spring loaded plate in it to dispense one coin at a time by pushing it sideways. Available in several sizes fro dimes to quarters.

I use a small tobacco tin to hold wads and cards.
A snuse can type container is ideal for storing patches and things in, only snuse cans are paper. If you had a friend that chews some of this none tobacco chew, those containers are made out of plastic, there are either coal black or green, and they are really quite handy with their snap on lid's. One of my son-in-law's chewed that for several years and I acquired quite a few. They're well worth looking for.

Used to use the two different size cards and a wad .
Found something not only easier and faster to use, but also gives me great patterns. I use two over powder and one over shot.
