If I'm thinking of the same person, I thought he had died quite a few years ago... was his wife taking over the business? I can't remember exactly what the situation was.

Boy, that was some time ago. Mid to late '80's? I think the second book of Buckskinning was dedicated to his memory. I believe her name was Kera Lee Tyrney or thereabouts {sp?} As far as I know La Pelletrie is no longer in business
