Before she went shopping, my sister once famously (in our family) said "Need has nothing to do with it - I want it!" That gave the perfect excuse to the rest of us. So now we just say that and laugh.

We are all Hunter/Gatherers. We just seek in different fields. The pursuit is a huge part of the fun. Some would say all the fun. Otherwise why would we be wanting more?

An interesting thing happened to me this year. For various reasons, I have had a large (for me) gun budget this year and have purchased 6 new guns this year. (As opposed to the usual 1 gun in 5 years or so I'm used to).

The odd thing is that buying all those guns make me want even more guns! Its like a drug addiction! :haha:

You're just fine. I got a flinter, 3 cappers, 2 cap& ball revolvers and 3 horse pistols and when I told the wife I needed another flintlock she said why, you can only shoot one at a time. I looked at her 5 boxes of shoes and ask her why she had so many shoes you can only wear one pair at a time! ooooh if looks could kill. :haha:

 

I haven't even gotten the last two muzzleloaders I paid for and I'm wanting another one!

Is there a term for this condition?

I know I am a little late on this post but...buy all you can before you get married and especially before you have kids!!! That braces money sure could have bought several custom rifles :shake:
