Well, I tried to take the 1858 and Brown Bess to the range today. However I got there and was on my own, since we have a minimum of 2 people rule I had to turn around and drive home again
Funny rules you have over there. Is it dangerous to shoot alone?Well, I tried to take the 1858 and Brown Bess to the range today. However I got there and was on my own, since we have a minimum of 2 people rule I had to turn around and drive home again

I’m glad my range isn’t like that, I’d never get to shoot. It’s rare that I don’t have it to myself.Thems the rules.
I imagine that it is because should anything happen there is nobody to phone for help. Makes sense, however, it was somewhat annoying.
Same here, When developing a load for a new gun it is great to have the range to myself. No distractions, go downrange whenever I want to look closer or post targets. No waiting for others. Stop for awhile and start again.I’m glad my range isn’t like that, I’d never get to shoot. It’s rare that I don’t have it to myself.
That’s awesome!!Duck hunt day 3/3. Five mallards taken, 26 total (ducks, not all mallards) for the weekend by the 5 of us. Great weekend!
