Very nice, I can see a lot of subtle differences from the later versions, unless this one has had a make-over at sometime in it's past.Unboxed the 1980 Lyman GPR I recently purchased. Hoping to shoot it this weekend.

I try to round up items needed ( candy, balloons, dryer lent, conicals, targets, gatorade bottles, etc ) for 3-4 videos at a time. How many videos do you usually have in the works at any time?

Usually no more than two are on my editing program.
Once I get above 2 videos on my editing program......
it gets too hard to keep up with all the separate video clips, especially since I use 2 cameras for the shooting projects.
I'm working on an "2024 year in review" video I'll post late in December 2024. I'm going to attend a backwoods Black Friday shoot & get some fun & silly moments on video to complete that one.
I completed, uploaded to Youtube one yesterday & since deleted that one off the editing program getting ready for the next one.
Usually I'll shoot & edit them the same day unless its a trekking video or something that takes more work. 99% of the time I do all the work myself because I can't find anyone around here that wants to get into the trekking projects with me.
I also research local history for videos to post on a different YouTube channel that focuses on my hometown. Stuff like train wrecks, flying adventures, local floods, fun times I had in the 1970's in KY and currently working on a local tragic plane crash project.
It is a fun hobby I love to incorporate my adventures of shooting and video work.
Thanks for asking.
One I have with a few rough spots in the barrel likes the cotton canvas from hobby lobby.Got the flash channel opened up and put a new nipple in it which snugged right up. The bore is rough inside and and out but I can live with that for now. Used a Hawken ramrod and thimbles and an old CVA (I think) sight. It ain’t real purty but I think it will shoot. Hope to find out afore to long.
It’s rough and put together with mismatched parts but I would guess there might have been a few mountain men with guns like this.

Lead balls don't care if the bore is a bit rough!Yep. I’m gonna work on the bore a little more. Sometimes rough bores will shoot just fine. I bought this gun so cheap that if it ends up being just a 25 yard plinker it was worth it.
My local Lobby has a "Clearance" aisle; get some good buys; like those bundles of leather in a roll from the leather-craft dep't. Cow hide, that sort of thing. One I have with a few rough spots in the barrel likes the cotton canvas from hobby lobby.
Nice work .Completed a horn this evening. It took a while but it’s all there. This is #72.
