What Muzzleloading Stuff Did You Do Today?

Golf balls make great file handles, just drill a 1/8 or 3/16 hole in them and tap the file in. They work great and have I think a better feel than a regular handle.

Started inletting some thimbles on another pistol. Broke a 1/8" chisel so had to re-point and sharpen with my dremel. All good fun - makes being a Democrat a little easier!

Sanding and chisel work...Bob got it right...this wood is hard and soft in layers...makes for a difficult sand. I have managed to get the toeplate screws to stop falling out. Win! My Motorola phone STILL won't post pics.

Next day...I need better light...working under a ceiling light is not working. Sunlight reveals mistakes...still enough wood left to fix ir.
