Are you going to connect the two holes in the wedge. I don't see how it would work otherwise. I've thought about making making my own wedge plates but was uncertain about matching them. Never occurred to me to just accept them without worrying about perfection.
yes...connect the holes...but deeper in the wedge

Beautiful! Pathfinder you have really developed a style that is recognizable. Nice work!
Thanks HJ- Thank you! I like creating these Folk-art influenced horns. It's think it's a style that's developing from my love of things Pennsylvania-Dutch (with some liberties taken).

I love the look of a fullstock Hawken.

Hey Tom maybe you adopt me or something I’d love to have one but just can’t ever see me having one they are nice but pricey know .I hope you shoot it lots .
The Trade Gun was one of the early guns that I built back in the 70's when Curly still owned North Star. I had built one for a club member and liked it so much I had to make myself one.
That one I will still have when I leave this earth.

Ya there was a 24 gauge on for I think 1600 USA would of been perfect for me cause I already have a shorty 24 gauge but all I can do is dream cause our dollar is only worth 68 cents compared to your dollar .But that’s still a lot of green backs and I have enough to feed us if need be .

Practicing engraving. Pretty rough but I'm finally getting somewhere and getting the hang of sharpening. I made these two gravers today out of HSS. They cut well.
