What style/configuration would make a nice, light .36 cal. squirrel gun? Planning on using a 3/4" octagon barrel. Or maybe a swamped barrel. Any input would be appreciated!
+1 on thatSMR would be my vote as well.
My grandfather had a flintlock 36 caliber Ohio and he put a lot of meat in the pot with it and taught me to shoot with it so I'm probably biased. Imagine a ten year old taking squirrels with a flintlock.Ohio style is pretty easy on the eyes.
I agree. An SMR with a swamped Barrel. I would suggest one of Kibler kits. For that caliber I would go with an SMR .
