What the heck

See this rifle on an auction site. Someone unscrewed the breech from the barrel and for some reason did not reassemble it the way it was - barrel and breech tight together. Maybe could not get things to line up with one more rotation? Very weird.

Doesn't look like the tang is all the way down?

Also does not look like the right lock for the barrel
