I wear total camo and head net in the spring. In the fall I wear total camo but often with one of two brown canvas upland coats. Usually, when it's cold, I add a fuzzy camo face/head cover and a blaze orange hat. One of my canvas jackets has orange panels, already.
If it's really frigid (unusual in the South) I have a heavy camo parka I'll wear. One thing is that I virtually never wear a pair of gloves regardless of temperature. They don't keep my hands warm, not even mittens. Instead I throw a couple of chemical hand warmers in my pockets and they absolutely do work.
If it's really cold and I have a little walk ahead of me carrying a folding seat - I can't get down and up from the ground without help - I may wear mittens so my hands won't freeze from holding onto the metal seat frame. The mittens come off as soon as I reach my blind.
