When building a rifle from a blank or kit, are there any steps U dislike?

I'm a slow learner and still consider myself a beginner even after 8 or 10 rifles and kits. That said, I have better tools now than when I started and I have developed some skills, at least to a degree. When I started, there were LOTS of individual projects that drove me crazy, but now I really don't have anything that I hate about building a gun. There are still some aspects that cause me a bit more stress, but I don't hate any part of the process and I'm learning to really enjoy the progress, even when it's slow.
