With side plates you're really better off making your own. The reason being, is that every gun's architecture is slightly different in the 3 main points you're concerned with; the location / relationship of the 2 stock bolt holes, how the plate orients toward the lower fore end, and how the plate exits or "points the way" toward the wrist. Your lock and web thickness orient the first 2, but wrists, vis a vis the lock plates are all pretty much an individual thing. It's all about striking an eye pleasing and architecturally sound balance between them.

I've bought a few of the pre-made ones, and ultimately concluded that none of them were quite right for my builds, so now I just cut them out of 1/8" thick sheet brass. It takes a while, sure, but you'll get what you want, and wind up being happier in the long run. Just make sure you have a good stock of replacement blades for your jeweler's saw when you start cutting!

Since two of my flints are Kibler, would I be easier to buy the side plates and have them engraved? My third rifle and make one, though it is almost the same as the Kiblers. Maybe I’ll make one.
It’s hard to retrofit a different shaped side plate to any pre existing inlet and have it look good and look different. With kits where everything is pre-inletted, your customizing options are limited to inlays, patch boxes, carving, and engraving. .

I will try to make copies with sheet bronze. Or just have the originals engraved that came with the rifles. I may leave the Ron Scott alone as it is.

I can buy one of these and send it off to be engraved. Otherwise, I guess I would need washers to replace it while I am still shooting.
You might buy a couple of gravers and practice on some sheet brass. Then draw the design you want on your side plate and enjoy doing your own. You can do it if you’d like to try.
