Hopefully still lookingHi,
You can buy escutcheon plates from several suppliers like MBS, Track of the Wolf, and the Rifle Shoppe but you will not find any like on that Antes gun. That plate would have to be custom made and cast.

Either by hand or machine made, really shows ones ability to put out some class!! And a little SHOW BLING never hurt anybody. How about a side plate like this?
It’s hard to retrofit a different shaped side plate to any pre existing inlet and have it look good and look different. With kits where everything is pre-inletted, your customizing options are limited to inlays, patch boxes, carving, and engraving. .Since two of my flints are Kibler, would I be easier to buy the side plates and have them engraved? My third rifle and make one, though it is almost the same as the Kiblers. Maybe I’ll make one.
I will try to make copies with sheet bronze. Or just have the originals engraved that came with the rifles. I may leave the Ron Scott alone as it is.It’s hard to retrofit a different shaped side plate to any pre existing inlet and have it look good and look different. +100Leave the Scott piece as is. Send your Kibler plates off to be engraved if you want.
I think you are absolutely right! Leave it alone.Leave the Scott piece as is. Send your Kibler plates off to be engraved if you want.
I can buy one of these and send it off to be engraved. Otherwise, I guess I would need washers to replace it while I am still shooting.A replacement side plate will fit the same as the original on a Kibler gun.
You might buy a couple of gravers and practice on some sheet brass. Then draw the design you want on your side plate and enjoy doing your own.
