Hello..I would like to make a few tiny pinfire (size) flintlock pistols...similar the old pinfire berloque style guns...I was wondering if anyone could suggest where I might find very small Siler type locks for flints...they don't have to be actual Siler locks...they could be made by anyone....I just need them to be tiny enough to be used in a pinfire size pistol and able to hold a piece of flint....your help is appreciated!!..thank you

Track of the Wolf sells what they call "Becky's Lock" which is proportioned to a barrel with a 3/4" breech width. Definately not cheap at $125, but a sweet little lock. Uses a 1/2" flint (their website says 1/4", but that's incorrect).

looking at it.....yes, it's very sweet!!...but..actually... it won't work for a pin-fire.... for a pin-fire the whole lock can't be more than 1/2" diameter....we're talking a (small) lock...hard to find!!...they might only be custom made?.....I'm tempted to still buy that lock...I could probably make a junior flint-lock with it...I don't have one of them...gots to get me one!! :)
