Where can I get black powder? I am going to go in on some powder with some friends. Just wondering what different places you can get it at. I was thinking about Grafs. (Please no laws and crap in this thread).

Check the powder suppliers in the Links here. http://www.muzzleloadingforum.com/MLF_Links.php#Powders

I just bought 25 pounds from Coonies. They don't do credit cards, but I wasn't in a hurry. They sent the powder after the check cleared. I had it delivered to my office, that way it didn't get left on the porch at home when I wasn't there.

Everything I shoot is large bore, so the powder gets used pretty fast.

Many Klatch

Don't know where you live but, if you are a NMLRA member and can get to their H.Q. in Friendship, IN they will fix you up with whatever you need. Bought Swiss there the other day for $17.00 a pound. Goex is running around $11.00 right now. No Haz-mat fee - its like Sam's Club for black powder!

Lonewolf is that price correct at $3.95 per. :shocked2: or is that a typo? I haven't seen black powder that cheep in 25 years.

My first bulk order experience was with Powder Inc. The prices were great, delivery was fast, and I was all smiles for a week straight!
