I had Dan Whitacre install this front sight. Turn around time was extremely quick. The blade width is 0.08" and the distance from the bottom of the barrel to the top of the sight is 1.035". I will zero in primarily using Lyman wadcutters. Heavier Minie Balls and Round lead balls will require me to hold high or low as needed.
