I have a colt 1851 Navy brass frame 44cal and a Remington steel frame 44cal. which Lee cronical bullet mold should i buy.

both revolvers should use the same slug, the .454 with the reduced heel dia. of .445. I have that one you will enjoy shooting them. use as pure lead as possible to cast, don't use wheel-weights. good luck, Blizzard of 93

The only 454 mold i can is Lee 454-294-M Improved Mine is this the right mold.

not the 'improved minie', it's the reduced heel mold you need, don't have the # handy I'll try to check my Lee literature and get back to you.

the # for the mold is 450-200-1R, that is the ID#. the single mold order# is 90381, the double cavity order# is 90382 good luck.
