Good price and you'll likely not ever need another.
I have all the tools and stuff already made up for winding coil and torsion springs so it would be easy for me to make up one and I tend to forget that is not the case for most folks.

An interesting thread.

I replaced the spring in my Uberti London Navy some years back. It was a Pieta spring ; "Should fit" said the store man. Not quite, just a tad long. I cut the offending length with the cutter on my pliers and it fit.

Never knew about these wire springs. Now, I do. Looked them up on the Wolff website, and I will have to buy a few of each type, spares for my Navy and Army.

Well, they don't have the snappy "feel" that flats do (they are kind of mushy feeling to me) and I used to save the broken ones I got out of customer's guns lol!! They're basically a modern rendition of the same thing and they may or may not last longer. If you want a truly "lifetime" spring, the coil spring is the way to go!! The one spring that needs to stay flat is the mainspring. The flat spring is the best spring for moving heavy parts fast. Triggers don't need fast springs as well a bolt or hand doesn't need a fast spring. This is why $2,500.00 / $3,000 FA revolvers still use a flat main. Coils are great for longevity but they suck at moving heavy things fast!!

Tell ya I just ordered 3 from Wolff Springs say $22 ship/tax Out the door From all my reads they out last the flats.

********* UPDATE 10-25-21 took longer than expected and the wrong springs were sent Uberti Regulator Sent, EMF/PIETTA ordered, they still do work and work well******* Had to be modified to fit, simple procedure, straightening out trigger end. .

Here's what a coil setup looks like.

Pretty perceptive CVA!
The combination spring is "repurposed" as a "keeper" for the trigger and bolt spring stationary ends (bolt side) and the bolt block (trigger side). No, they aren't available as after market items but they are part of a tuning "package deal". The springs are made in house and since it requires parts modification, it's not a user friendly install. That said, they are a permanent upgrade and could easily be copied (by a gunsmith) if it were ever needed. None have ever broken to date so I've never had to replace any.
Of course the hand spring is a frame mounted "coil and pushrod" which is a mod that many folks do. Mine is a little different.
So, there's another idea for some to think about when thinking about springs.
