Would the Woodsrunner use the same lock as the Colonial ?
Pretty much the same one. Might have been part of the reasoning behind the Woodsrunner coming ahead of a Hawken since the Hawken will need a new lock. In any case, I didn’t pay much attention to the Woodsrunner hype until I saw the specs. I ordered right away. 😀

What caliber did you choose ?

Looks kinda the same as the Colonial why not offer it in 58? I would just get a Colonial in 58 and cut it down. What happened to the smoothbore he was going to make?

According to his post on another forum. Fowler is coming soon, this was an easy one to get into production as some of it will share the programming from the colonial. As for the .58, I believe the barrel will be to thin for .58.

Does that $1130 include the lock? Some kit-makers sell the lock as a separate, additional purchase as a way to work around some rule or regulation. I don't know if Mr. Kibler has to do this or not.

Thanks,

Notchy Bob

$1130 if you get a standard stock, fancy stock is more.

Alright I think I might order one. When I looked at them and seen the price of $1100.00 and it said plus $300.00 for lock. I figured it would cost $1400 plus shipping. Glad you cleared that up...
