Our town FINALLY has a small shop that carries goex!!

Picked up a can today for only $22 and some change total :v

Got some 120 grain loads measured out for my 58 and once this dang spring snow storm passes and it warms up, Im going to give the Hawken a work out.

might not be a bad idea to stock up on it now
before the lefties put a strangle hold on it and that which is now in stock evaporates

bob g

It is always a good thing when a local vendor carries black powder supplies. They are getting to be few and far between. Geo. T.

yep, doesnt it suck? Had 2 beautiful days after 3 horrible windy days and then bam! Snow.

And the day after i get a couple new fishing reels in

Out here on the pacific coast, I found a place in Oregon that sells it for 20+ a lb.

The Gun Works in Springfield. As an Oregon Ducks fan, when we go up to see games (football, softball, volleyball etc) I swing by and get some. I have about 20lbs of combined 2-3F powders and a ton of caps to shoot for quite a while.

Joe and Suzi are great people and will ship with the hazmat fees.

i'm letting mine go for another week then i'm going to bale it. i figured with the late frost we had up here in pontotoc co. the fruit trees might be bare but they are loaded down.now we are getting ready to put the swimming pool up.i did manage to get a order off for some real bp powder just hope i didnt wait to late.

Yeah, :haha:
He should look out my window right now, visibility about a 1/10 of a mile and coming down hard.
Check your local weather channel and look at what's happening in Central Minn.
We need the water though, it's actually been good a slow melt,, add some,, slow melt,, add some,,,

Fargo is gonna flood, again!
Darn Red River, it only drops 3"s in 5 miles in that area.

Sen. Launtenberg from NJ wants greater control and limits on Black powder purchases. He is as anti-gun as you can get.
They used BP in the Boston bombs, so it is not unexpected to get this reaction. It probably won't get far, but there might be just a little more regulation- which is costly.

Living in Ny I just bought 5lb of goex thinking that in the near future I wouldn't be able to do that.

try 100grs and every 5th shot is free. i hunt with 90grs in my 50 but get great target at about 47 so i can get lots more from that pound

:surrender: Just called Dixon"s to see if they have powder, was told that they can not talk about powder over the phone, they are not the only dealer that has said that can not talk about any powder over phone since Boston! Just great have to drive 3 hrs to see if powfer is avaible. Thanks Goverment!

Now that is absolutely ridicules! They will not even say if they have powder in stock or not because of what happened in Boston? That is a load of BS! They expect you to drive 3 hours just to be told they dont have it? I would tear the walls down once I heard that if it was me.... Or accidentally put my truck in forward gear "backing" out of my parking space and give them a new front door!

I would just put a 5 lb order in with Powder inc. they will have a truck in by the end of April. So you could have it by the 1st week of may.

That's what I did last mo.

For goex it's min 5lb and it works out to $23.50 lb. that includes hazmat / also pick up some caps and that's included w / Hazmat he will put them in the same box.

You will need to print out the release fourm on his site and fax it to him also.

Yes that is an awful inconvenience, but think about it.

The anti's now have a new fervor, another new angle to work. They constantly take advantage of traumatic events to push their agenda.

Think of all the glorious independent "journalists" that are trying to show the world how easy it is to get powder of any kind let alone BP.
What's a good AP story sell for now-a-day's?
5-10K?

I'll bet the 10-15 online supply houses are fielding 200-300 calls a day now instead of the normal 30-40.

Sorry I'm so cynical, but, Monday afternoon I ordered 10 Lbs. from Jerry and it got here yesterday. I knew the minute I saw the smoke on TV what I needed to do. 5 lbs was Olde Eynsford and I shot a couple cylinders with my 1858 Rem. today. It's Way Cleaner than straight Goex, but I wasn't checking accuracy.
