Having to thin out my muzzleloaders... this is a custom built (probably in the 70s) rifle with a Douglas barrel and Russ Hamm lock. Very nice bore. Straight barrel, 13/16" across the flats, 41" long. Weighs 7 lbs 6 oz. The stock finish has a greenish tint which is from the type of finish used. It's somewhat different but I like it.
I have fired this rifle a few times, and it is very accurate. The front sight blade is shaped to have a fine point when sighting down the rifle, and I find it to be very good for putting the front sight PRECISELY on the target where I'm aiming. I believe a fine sharp front sight blade view allows for better consistency in aligning sights in a precise manner shot after shot.
$650 plus shipping. If you're in the eastern time zone I will ship for a flat $25 via US Priority with insurance.
