Posting again as I am in need to find a true Ithaca 50 cal. Hawken rifle built in the 70s from the Cherry Corners kits...
just missed one on here so even tho they are elusive I know they are out there!!

You can post that as a Wanted ad and not FOR SALE.

There is one on Gunbroker but its less than perfect, a kit build and the builder felt the need to stamp 'Ithica' and HAWKEN on the lock plate. Nice bore though.

Thanks for the Info I will relist. Yep its a crying same that the kit builder didnt even take time to look at the barrel before Spelling "Ithica" wrong.....we would have to find an OEM lock to change it out!! How embarrassing!

I have a factory built gun in .45 cal I'd sell. If it's of any interest to you I'll post pictures with all the required info.

ETA...Sorry...I have a TC factory gun...not an Ithaca.

Andrew Jackson was a poor speller, and he once said, "A man has to be stupid if he can't spell a word more than one way." Long ago, when I was in the army, I saw a carefully painted sign that said, "This pier is strickly off limits."
You would think that with smart phones and computers, errors in spelling and grammar would be diminished, but the mistakes seem to be increasing.
