Hey Folks Next Month is the Fort Loudon (PA) Market Fair

Ft. Loudon Market Fair

It's the actual repro fort that is featured in Allegheny Uprising starting John Wayne and Claire Treavor (RKO 1939) Allegheny Uprising DVD Hmmm that didn't come out right. The fort in the movie is supposed to be this fort, and this fort is a repro of the original fort, but they shot the movie in California.

This event in the past has been a good place for artisans and for blanket trading.

Mrs Coot & I plan to be there
 
I went & helped Mrs Coot (Blue Cat Buttonworks) set up & drove 5 hrs home. Sun, drove back to help break down & come home. At 77 with a bad heart, I cannot take 96-98 degree heat. She reports good sales & going to sit in the creek every afrernoon. Hopefully next year will be cooler.
