Today I ordered a 1842 Springfield smoothbore musket from muzzle-loaders.com. Luckily, I did a phone order and spoke to a guy named Brandon.
I expressed to him my concerns that I have with Chiapappa/Traditions’ firearms. There are some “not so great” reviews on the web. He said that he will personally check the rifle in the warehouse. I gave him my cc information and made the order. A short while later, he called me and stated that their 1842 muskets were not what he felt were in perfect condition. I told him to cancel my order and he agreed. One hour later I got a email stating that my cc was refunded. I checked my bank and my refund was there. I felt that this company could have sent me the defective ml and maybe I would keep it. They were honorable and I felt like I was treated respectfully.

Good people over there; low prices and free shipping on all accessories. Ordered a CVA measurer that was suppose to be 50 grs. to 120 grs. and it turned out to be 60grs. to 120 grs. I sent and email about a return and within an hour they had refunded the cost and told me just to keep it. The next day the description was changed on their site from 50 grs. to 60 grs. .
