Has anyone seen the price of Minwax antique oil finish? Holy Sh%t

I bought some a few year back , think it was $13 for a quart. I like the results. It appears its been discontinued. Same thing happened with Fromby's tung oil and Johnsons paste wax; it got discontinued and shot up to $75 a pint on ebay and amazon. Try local mom and pop hardware stores. Seems like this is happening to more and more products.

Thanks, I just did a search and sure enough with just a luck of the draw. I found a place that has it 20 minute ride for me heading out now but wanted to try the stuff, heard good things about it.

Awesome ! I'm happy with the results I get. I lightly rub it in with two fingers, let dry over night . Lightly scuff with 0000 steel wool , wipe with clean rag and repeat. Two to three coats gives a nice low sheen finish. The more coats the shinier it gets.

A tip is to store the can upside down , keeps it from getting a dried skim on top.
