Enjoying 3 days of load development and fine championship winning level target results with this Kuchenreuter originally made by Pedersoli. My tuning and test results posted on the Handgun forum. I'm impressed it keeps up with my Original 1840s Swiss target Caplock. It shoots match accurate with its. 395 ball with 17 thousands patch at 25 yards with only 10 grains of Swiss 3f. 18 grains at 50yds. The balance and full grip allows results in a low felt recoil that feels like my .36 caliber pistols. My expectations were exceeded... This Kuchenreuter has been fully tuned and tested by me the same as all my match pistols. The results of my tuning are displayed in the background. The results displayed are NMLRA and NRA overall national championship results for 2024. Provided for tuning credentials..$ 1750 shipped conus...PM if interested in purchasing...For more details and info please see my review on the Handgun Forum...nsp

The Kuchenreuter by Pedersoli is shown with a target pistol made in the 1840s by Casimir Weber Zurich Switzerland. Both have adjustable rear sights, Key barrels, Hook patent breeches and very similar locks. The Kuchenreuter has a much shorter hammer through for a faster fire or lock time. Double set vs. Single set triggers having seen do difference in my scores only using them set to my preferred 1.7 Oz. when set. The Kuchenreuter single set has a unset weight of 1 pound and 2 Oz as unset with a stop. Similar to an Olympic 10 meter pistol and with a fine match quality feel...nsp

Kuchenreuter shown with my custom fitted, tuned and DeHass .36 barreled national record holding and national championship winning LePage Caplock. The parts are Pedersoli that they put together to sell me what they considered a new gun through Dixie Gun Works. As much tuning needed to make this pistol match worthy I would have preferred just a parts kit. The hammer did not even line up with the nipple. Had to be heated and bent. I have found this rebuilding or tuning to be normal for all factory made guns to some degree. So if it seems like I'm not giving Pedersoli credit for making this pistol that would be correct. Just the parts...nsp
