Some day you’ll be old like me……oh wait, you already are!😂

Try as they did, and after being violated by not just one, not two, but three pretty nurses, two different times, they have not been successful at removing the partial blockage.
Hmmmm, somehow I suspect you of having orchestrated that partial blockage!

I've been very busy and not following the forum very much this past week having house guests all week. It's been just today I learned of your health scare. Upon first reading of @Jim K post I was shocked but also certain that you were still on top of the green since I'd seen your sling post earlier.

I'm feeling much better about how you are doing now. I know you are a determined tough guy and you will be bouncing back quickly. Take care of yourself and keep your eye on the squirrel hunting you have to do coming up. It'll keep you going and improving.

Thanks, Cruiser.

Things appear to be getting a little better the last couple of days. Energy increasing more and more. Eating is a problem but I'll survive.

According to the weather forecast, another week of cold, cloudy and wind here for the most part. Tomorrow is supposed to be severe clear, low winds but in the teens in the morning and not over 30* all day. Its the only halfway decent day of the week. Not sure if I'm ready to go out just yet, still a bit one the weak side, but we shall see.

Due to my unfortunate situation, as well as some other factors, it appears as if I might have conceded and defected. Wife ordered me one of those.........cough, cough...............Oh my, how it hurts to type this..............cough, cough........Cheater Sticks. If I want to get back out there and squirrel hunt, now that I have lost most all of my squirrel woods, I'm going to have to take it easy for a while. So no marching up and down steep grades.

Oh Lawdy, what's the world coming to. Everything is so whacked out of proportion. The irony of defeat. I shall never be the same. Its going to require some mighty strong willpower to get over this one.

Helps git you back in the timber , might get me some, send me some pics of the sticks, you too Jim K,

This morning, and I'm dread'n it.
Have a great Day, 10Spot

Will do.

Ed, take it easy. Give yourself some time.
As far as Cheater Sticks, go for it. If it keeps ya in the woods shooting squirrels with Mr. C. Then so be it. I see no problem in it.

You'll still be Ole ETipp. That will never change....

Best to ya Ed.
Thanks, bro. We shall see.

Couldn’t stand being in this house any longer. I’m not ready to go to the woods just yet, so I thought I’d try my luck easing around in the thicket behind my house. And I’ll be darned.

It’s cold out this morning so after I got Mr. Rabbit I decided that was good nuff for the day. Came back to the house, cleaned up Mr. C, having a cup of coffee to warm up, then out to clean da bunny.

Mr. C is loaded and ready again. Some snow tonight but it’s supposed to be clear all day tomorrow and very cold. I need to go on a recovery mission tomorrow to pick up a trail cam I left up in the thicket from hell. Reckon I’ll take Mr. C along and just ease up through there. Hoping to find a couple of squirrels on the ground digging around.

I wouldn't call it conceding ol Hoss, methinks it's more like adapting, overcoming. If it keeps you in the game, heck yeah, use the he!! outta them sticks. Carve a notch in it for every bushytail you drop.

I have to admit some cheating also.
I will post it tonight after work.

Had a drill sergeant tell me once (yell actually), "if you ain't cheatin, you ain't trying! And if you get caught, you and tryin hard enough".

Useful advice....maybe.
Psychological warfare...... probably
Adaptable in certain situations.... definitely!

I like that.
I should have stated that after I put my sling on the Crockett Rifle for Ed, send him some pictures, then I'll post about as you said Adapting. Or cheating really well.

Nigerian saying. 1978 to 1982 “If a man is all good nothing bad can be said against him. If he is bad he should die ! !

If you do something bad and get caught you are stupid, if you don’t get caught you are clever .

The bad ones were shot on Bar beach on Sundays. See utube around 1972 bar beach exicutilns
