What can I say Mr. Tipp has a lot of information in this little book. Great read... Perfect for gifting to someone new to muzzleloader hunting. I grew up in the 60's and hunted all the time in the 70's grew out of squirrel hunting till I had boys of my own then trained them up on hunting them... Now that I'm retired, I really enjoy muzzleloader hunting small game with my 36 cal and double barrels. Wish there would have been a little more information on Muzzleloader shot gunning them in the early season. When leaves are out and there up high 1 1/4oz. of #5 rolls them. If he ever needs a hunting partner with a smooth bore, I'll volunteer

Thank you, Duk, for the kind words.

ETipp,

About half way through your excellent book. Truly enjoying it and I might order a few as gifts, I know a few hunters that would appreciate the subject.

If you do another book in the future I’m in for the first copy.

Jeff

Just finished it. I really enjoyed it and learned a lot. It moved me to take the Crockett out shooting this afternoon. Now I await opening day of squirrel season that is still almost two months away!

Thank you and good luck this season.

I will be buying this book!! This fall and winter I’ll be in search of bushies for the pot and will be using my Crockett and trade gun!!

I enjoy the flavor and aroma of squirrel’s meat greatly. When fried and the bits made into a gravy it is a wholesome and toothsome fare indeed!!!

Smoky, if you want a copy of the book you might want to do so shortly. Yesterday I went and picked up another small order. None to my liking, the printer has raised their prices $5.00 per copy. This is not sustainable considering I was barely breaking even from the beginning. I only have 8-9 copies remaining and that might very well be it. The only way I might place another order is if I raise my price from $27.00 to $32.00 shipped. Even at that I’m not making much, if anything, by the time I pay expenses. The price of shipping has increased as well.

With that said, I was pretty sure from the beginning that this was not going to be a moneymaking ordeal. However, my intent was to put something out there for friends and fellow members on here that they would enjoy reading, and hopefully learn a few helpful things as well.
