Fish bait shops..

There's nothing here to hang out at.
I use to be there allot. It closed.

There was the gun shop.
That's just hanging out with cops. I hung out there allot to. Now I've moved

The bait shop was fun..

I don't have those places either anymore to go.

Bars !

Hang out in bars!
You sound like an intelligent person and should know there’s always someone to talk to at the bar.
PS : The barkeep can’t leave..👍

You don’t have to drink if you don’t want to..

Good suggestion.

Your right I don't drink.

Michigan. Hardwares store

Maine. Custom bow shop and golf range.

I'm sure I'll find a spot here at some point. It's been a couple years.

The air gun range.

The guy there is military. He is cool.

It's a little pricey to join the range.

I could hang out there bring my kid.

That is I think where I'm going to end up.

..
I really like the 36 too. Get a bit better range, from not that much more powder. 35 grns. of Swiss 3F, .018 ticking patch with TOTW Mink, and a .350 Hornady RB seems to be pretty good combo for Sadie. I did have to put a little Testors model paint on the front sight so my bad eyes could focus better🤣

Poor eyesight. I see well with glasses. Cleaning glasses is a routine task. I enjoy hunting and it's a habit to clean them while walking during hunts to keep them clean.

Should I make print an online resume. Print and mail it?

Basically I'm an Electrician.

What job is there for me? Give me a job.

Leave name and number and that goes to someone who's doing this hiring?

My grandfather always typed a letter and mailed it.. he said it's better than a phone.
I just don't want them to think it's crazy. It's 2024

I want it on the desk.

Not an online application. Phone or email.

Letter mailing story. My dog ingested poison while hunting. My first dog. Unfortunately, it did not survive. It was only 2 years old. I typed a letter and mailed it. They promptly initiated an investigation. It took them a couple of years. We heard nothing for what I think was a couple of years. I recall being informed that they had apprehended the individuals responsible for placing poison in the area.

I've not heard of anyone else experiencing that. There was a dog and poison involved. I was younger at the time. I recall the dog walking slowly and strangely. My grandfather rushed the dog to the truck and drove for hours to get home. Unfortunately, the vet visit did not go well. He would often say that he wished he knew where to go for help at the time, as he felt he could have saved the dog. If he had driven around searching for a place, how long would it have taken to find one? Would it have been faster to go straight home to our vet? We were far from home. He couldn't forgive himself for not acting quickly enough.

The old timers used to say something like: you don't know sometimes; you go somewhere and you don't know where you are. They didn't like me hunting in unfamiliar places and going to these places I didn't know. You don't know where you are. I used to go alone. I used to go to new places I had never been that I didn't know. They used to go as a group. They would say that. They said they never went out like that alone. I told my old friend I was headed to Michigan for deer hunting. He told me, I hope you find what you're looking for, because what in the world is sending you there? I still don't have an answer to that question?

I didn't particularly always enjoy the experience either. Alone. I sat atop several mountains, pondering why I didn't simply sit in my own backyard. It seemed excessively far to not observe anything noteworthy... I wondered why I wasn't seeking a more proximal location for a hunting spot. Occasionally, I was accompanied by my cousin, and we utilized walkie-talkies. Unfortunately, we didn't spot any deer.

Won't get to know a place until you go there and see it. Maps are great, but boots on the ground are better.

Destroyed pheasants. I have a certain aversion to discovering birds. Pheasant hunting on the ground involves my dog retrieving them. However, I do not want her consuming a bone. Consequently, I have to place a few in trees annually. Unfortunately, they destroyed it, which counts toward the limit as well. It is unacceptable for them to leave it there in that state. I strongly object to that practice. Inflated birds left to rot on the ground are particularly disturbing.

Fishing in the city presents unique challenges. I discovered a promising location, albeit in a poorly lit area, which is not ideal. Notably, no one else was fishing there, opting instead for the opposite side, likely due to the presence of thugs who steal gear. An elderly gentleman emerged from his residence as I was cleaning up my bait. I was disposing of trash and picking up items that didn't belong to me, ensuring the area was tidy. He inquired about my presence, questioning how I knew about the spot and the bait. He revealed that this was his usual fishing location and shared information about the area and its inhabitants. However, he assured me that I had nothing to worry about, as the individuals present were all his acquaintances. He even reprimanded one of them for not cleaning up. I was permitted to fish there because I demonstrated a sense of responsibility by cleaning up after myself and picking up others' trash. The elderly gentleman took a liking to my fishing rod, remarking that it was custom-made and wondering how I had managed to retain possession of it. When I mentioned that I had purchased it at Walmart, he responded that the individuals in the area were not naive and recognized the rod's custom nature, leaving him perplexed as to how I had avoided trouble.

No one fished there. People fishing on the other side complain. It's because they are all pigs leaving a mess for someone else to clean. So good they lose their gear and get kicked out. He said he had a room full of fishing rods and gear from people going over there. Talk to him a lot. He got a big one. All night fishing. Went to bed and woke up late. They all ate the fish at the party and didn't save anything. He wasn't happy about that.

When they steal people's fishing gear, there is seemingly nothing that can be done. It's not just a couple of thugs; they all emerge from their surroundings, collecting the gear, rods and all, leaving the owners standing there, bewildered by the apparent robbery. No one provides an explanation or justification for walking away with the stolen items. I found this phenomenon quite interesting.
