    stuck ball 50 cal kentucky

    If you pour water down the barrel it will run out the nipple hole if the ball is pierced.Bigger the hole,faster it will drain.I never had luck with pullers so always shoot then out now with a trickled in charge as zonie says. Try it.

    3 years and a month later I capped and fired it at my range. I had cleaned and loaded it with a dry muslin patch and 90 grd of 2F.

    Any notion of the killing range of a 54 cal prb? If a horizontal shot at a Whitetail were to miss how far would it travel pushed by a 100 gr charge? is it 100's of yards or over a mile? Want to know for safety reason in populated areas.Thanks
