    Extra long barrels

I am looking for barrels for my projects that are longer than the normal 42-44 inch ones which are normally available from most vendors. Does anyone know who to contact about special order barrels (smoothbores for now but possibly rifled in the future) that can be made in the 48-50 inch lengths?

    Brown Bess bayonet

It sure does. I contacted TOTW yesterday and was told that their bayonet does fit the Pedersoli. When you said that it hangs like a wet noodle, do you mean that the fit was very loose?

    Brown Bess bayonet

Has anyone used or fit the TOTW Brown Bess bayonet on the Pedersoli 2nd model Bess? The barrel diameters show to be the same at the muzzle (.890). I was wondering if the lug size was different. The TOTW kit is for a Long Land pattern.

    barrel reboring

I built a flintlock Hawken last year with a 1 1/8 inch barrel which is quite heavy. It's a little uncomfortable to shoot so I thought about having it bored out to a larger caliber to reduce the weight. Can anyone recommend someone who rebores barrels. The barrel is now in 54 caliber and I...

    Jacob Dickert rifle style

I am preparing to start a project using a 44 inch B profile swamped barrel. My last three projects have been carved from stock blanks and I need a break. I found that Tiger Hunt stocks offers precarved stocks in several styles. I would like the rifle to be in a Jacob Dickert Lancaster style...

    Beeswax

Thanks. My wife said she couldn't find it at Walmart but its a BIG store. I'll check myself and there's a Hobby Lobby right down the road. "Remember the Alamo!"

    Beeswax

I see a lot of lube recipes which include beeswax. We checked a few local stores and can only find it in tubs for use on hair. Where do you find beeswax for use in lubes? If the hair stuff says "100% pure" would this work?
