    the local news channel here in buffalo ny just had a story on the white deer and again they are not albinos or piebald they are in deed whitetail deer just with no brown pigmentation at all there web site is wivb.com i also seen on another web site of an all black whitetail shot in texas last...

    the white deer at the seneca army depot are not albino's or piebald whitetail i forget what the cause of them being white is they are whitetails.the base is open to hunting by i beleive a lottery system only like 10 guys a day mostly military or armed forces though

    what is everyone shooting

    i have a variety of smokepoles i have 2 traditions 50 caliber hawken,1 cva bobcat and a cva staghorn inline the hawken's and bobcat are sidelocks that are round ball shooters the staghorn i use during the general gun season that i use sabot rounds out of :thumbsup:

    it sounds to me that oil is the culpret that is why you should fire 1-3 caps before loading to clear acces oil out of the breech area
