    A little push needed

I called DGW and they told me the the Dixie Tennessee Squirrel rifle in 32 cal. was never offered in a left hand version. Was I misinformed?

    A little push needed

I'm considering purchase of a used Dixie Tennessee Mountain rifle in 50 cal. For whatever reason I can't seem to make up my mind. Maybe because I already have the same gun in percussion. I was looking for a squirrel rifle when I ran across it. I don't own a flinter at the moment but have had...

Thanks everyone. They have a rifle there I'm considering. If I decide to make the purchase I will do so with confidence.

Has anyone had any experience good or bad dealing with The Gunworks Muzzleloading Emporium of Springfield, Oregon?

    shooting box

Does anyone have a source for a nice wooden shooting/range box. I'm not a carpenter so that's out. Dixie Gun Works has several listed but they are a bit pricey. I think I can do better elsewhere.

I agree the Alan Eckert books are great. I have read them all although it was some time ago.

    Back in the game

I have the Dixie Tennessee Mountain rifle in a lefty version. As far as I have been able to determine the squirrel rifle was only made in right hand. Looks like I may have to spend a bit more money and have one built or play a waiting game and see if something comes to market.

    Back in the game

I've been absent from muzzleloading for sometime but I've decided to get back in the game. I'm looking for a squirrel rifle, .36 cal and here is the kicker...left hand. I'm interested in your input. I don't have time to build so this rifle will have to be "out of the box". I'm willing to...

Let's add Sargent York starring Gary Cooper. I love the turkey shoot for the beef critter.

    muzzleloading movie library

It was raining the other day and there was nothing good on the tube so I started thinking what I wished was on. What is in your muzzleloading movie library? Davey Crocket, King of the Wild Frontier? Jeramiah Johnson, The mountain men? What are the must haves for a rainy day?

    rifle cover

I'm looking for a recommendation and source for a nice rifle cover for my Dixie TMR. I've already looked at what DGW has to offer. Thanks

New member coming back to muzzleloading

I've been away from muzzleloading for quite some time. The reasons aren't important. And when I think about all the great rifles I had and have no longer well....we all make mistakes. Anyway when I started thinking how much fun this was I remembered one of the rifles I first started with was a...
