    Some Stuff and Thanks

Thanks... Those are Coyote jaw bones..I got interested in the "Bear Societies" from Mr. Chuck Burrows and bear bones can be iffy as far as legalities. Coyotes are making a big presence in the Southeast and tend to eat chickens...a no-no in this area.. Mr. Fisher, I agree about the artists...

Thanks Gents, means a lot. An old injury has reared it's head and made forging this winter almost impossible..Funny how age does that, fine for years then all of a sudden you can't move, so I've had time for other stuff this winter after work instead of watching TV. Butcher Knife with Beaded Sheath

"I contacted a company in Sheffield England that has been in the knife business since 1700. I was trying to obtain information about knives that would have been available in 1803 and perhaps used by the Lewis & Clark expedition. The company told me that the majority of their utility cutlery was...

Does this knife have a quality blade?

I have several Forgecraft Hi Carbons that came in a bucketful of old knives but couldn't find much history on the company so I wonder if Forgecraft was a series name. Here is one I "remodeled" (click to enlarge) About the same as the "Old Hickory" which is owned by Ontario Knife Company and...

Thank you Sir, I have many more projects underway if you don't mind looking. While I'm here, I didn't read all the rules about posting something that is currently for sale. Mr. Brimes, you can have this knife and hand full more- I got them laying around everywhere, Mama says Knife Yard Sale. The beading technique is Lazy stitch and Cheyenne, the difference is lazy goes back in the leather at the end of each lane, Cheyenne stitch connects the lane into the previous...

    A couple new/old Rusty/Crustys

I've been reading a long time here, the talent is a little intimidating, but, this is some of what I do; (click to enlarge) These two came to me via a bucket of rusty knife looking objects back in the summer and I set them aside waiting on shorter days. I was determined not to sit around...
