    Thanks for the help guys, running a spit patch between shots really helped. I actually went through half a can of 777, and 1/4 can of pyrodex in one day. I live 30 miles from the range, and its rained so much I wanted to get all three rifles sighted in (shot from 10:00 to 5:30), stupid I know...

    A cheap way to make targets

    Buy some posterboard (3 for a dollar at Dollar Deneral). Buy some orange fluorescent Duck tape and a compass at wal-mart. Cut the tape in three inch sections, make three cross shapes in the top, middle, and bottom of the posterboard. Take the compass and make a 4, 6 8, and 12 inch rings around...

    Texas muzzleloader season

    I just moved to texas (not much public hunting land, but thats another story). Unlike some states Texas doesn't have a muzzleloader season..........but some counties do. Does anyone have a list of the counties in texas that have a muzzleloader season? Thanks

    Deer liver and heart?

    I think Bountyhunter made a good point. You may not know where that deer had been grazing and what the farmer put on his crops, or the home owner put on his lawn. The liver is the filtration system for mamals, any toxins will go strait to the liver.
