    Can't really say at this stage . Only other than colerain is a douglas at this point. Was interested in a long hammock. Son has one in 36cal. Man it shoots a group if I had found one at friendship would have bought it.

    My son and I just bought a couple of 20 ga. 44" colerain barrels for a winter project. Have a colerain barrel on my haines that I just finished . Am very pleased with the way it shoots. Hoping to take deer with it this season.

    Whats wrong with a longhammock barrel . My son has one in a 36 cal. that shoots a 1 inch group.

    Just finished a haines rifle from them .Taking it out tommarow to shoot for first time. If you are uncertain about anything when building ask on forum first will save you time and miserly.

    My grandfather would bone his hand tools the same way with a soup bone. His shovel,rakes, axes and such.Put a heck of a glossy finish on them. They were nice to work with after that slide through your hands real nice.

    That might not be problem to solve on small siler but Russ Hamm locks aren't made anymore. The Russ Hamm lock has problems when frizzen springs back.

    My son and I have two rifles that the frizzen kicks back on. One is a Russ Hamm lock the other is a small Siler lock. When dropped the frizzen opens all the way then springs back against the cock. Any ideas of how to fix problem would be appeciated.

    Here in Indiana we do have humid days . But for browning I'm like most impatient . And I am looking for a very even finish [It will become broken up with time in woods] . You all have a very interesting look on it and wouldn't trade that for anything. That's what ideas come from I thank you...
