    Stock decoration

    Some people like them and some don't. I pesonally like a carving on the stock. I have a CVA 45 cal Kentucky with a pheasant on one side and a racoon on the other, carved for me by my brother before he had a stroke. I love it and have received many compliments on it. Just my opinion. Fred

    How do you apply the wax/lard lube to patches? When, at shooting or prelubed. Which is the best way to lube patches with home made lube. want to make my own and use pillow ticking material for patches. would like to prelube a bunch at a time.

    Hi All Could I be able to put a 36 cal barrel on my CVA Kentucky 45 cal long rifle. It has a two piece full stock. It is a kit rifle, don't think that would make a difference though. If so, any ideas where to get one reasonable or used. Thanks
