    Stabilized wood is definiately important if it's going to be washed a lot as you have said. I have used stabilized woods before and am looking into "cactus juice" stabilization that you can just do at home rather than sending the wood out. Thank you!

    Thank you! I just wanted to play around with the file work, I'll actually start using patterns and whatnot on my next ones. I was actually just going to scrap this blade due to some imperfections till I did the file work on it for practice and actually kinda liked it! Very famous? I don't know...
